Math Week at Marshland

Kia ora bloggers,
This week we have had math week, in math week we have had different things going on including a scavenger hunt with younger pupils and a scavenger hunt for us, we have also played bingo, 8 out of 10 cats does countdown, maths baseball, and greedy pig. Here are the rules for the games, 8 out of 10 cats does countdown you get given a randomly generated number and you choose 6 numbers, there are small numbers ranged between 1 - 9 and big numbers ranged from 10 - 100, the aim of the game is to get as close to the given number as possible by multiplying, dividing, adding and subtracting you can only you a number once. Next onto greedy pig, you have a piece of paper to record the game and a die the aim of the game is to get as many points as possible without getting out the way you can get out is if you roll a six or whatever number you choose if the number is rolled you lose all your points from that round the way you get points is if you roll any other number than the dedicated number, you can bank at any point or you can risk it and keep going. Finally maths baseball the aim of the game is to make it home by beating the other team to answering the math question

  1. Hi Max I like your math report. It reminds me of a test I did in maths.
Maybe next time you could do a some writing and about literacy.
how long did the writing about math's take? Bye.
