Marvellous Math with Mrs Davies

Kia ora Bloggers,

This week in maths we have been looking at angles and polygons. We have been determining the interior angles of a shape as well as drawing some shapes using a compass- not a North/South compass, but a pair of compasses that you draw circles with.

A little run down of my knowledge is this.

And here are some examples of the work we have done on angles.

In this task, we had a map of the south island and we got given some distances and that we had to work out with our rulers, with the map 1 cm was = to 30 km in real life.
